Summary Dr Asim Hussain has denied all the rumors of his removal from the Karachi president post.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The reasons behind Dr Asim Hussain’s removal as Pakistan People Party (PPP) Karachi president have on Saturday been unearthed by Dunya News.
According to sources, PPP Women Wing President and Member National Assembly (MNA) Faryal Talpur was the primary reason behind Dr Asim’s exclusion as she was displeased with him.
PPP senior leader and Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Saeed Ghani had also disputes with Dr Asim. Furthermore, Dr Asim Hussain’s meeting with Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Chief Dr Farooq Sattar was also one of the reasons of his removal.
On the other hand, Dr Asim has denied all the rumors and said he has neither given resignation nor has he been dismissed from the post. He further added that he will act upon the directions of PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
